Easy Pumpkin Cupcake Recipe & Decorating Tips

Cupcakes seem to the the craze these days. There are cupcake shops popping up everywhere. There are also lots of fun accessories for people to create their own themes. Everything from baby showers, weddings, seasons, teams, holidays, etc. Below are some neat ideas in order to keep up with the current trend. It's a fun and individual treat. They are truly irresistible.

 

I unfortunately do not have the skills to do all this fancy decorating but there are other creative ways to do it including using picks and unique paper cups.

There are also ton of etsy shoppes that sell cupcake picks for decorating purposes.

Pumpkin Cupcakes

Ingredients:

• 1 spice cake mix (2 layer size)
• 1 (15 ounce) can of pumpkin
• 3 eggs 
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1/3 cup water

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl.

Beat mix for 2 minutes.

Pour batter into 24 lined muffin cups.

Bake at 350° for 20 minutes, or until pick comes out clean.

Cool in pans 20 minutes.

Super Easy Freestyle Apple Pie

Below are directions and picture to this super easy apple pie.

What you need 

3 - Apples, thinly sliced

1 - ready-to-use refrigerated crust

2 tsp of flour

1/4 cup of sugar

Directions

1. Heat over at 450 degrees. Line pie plate with crust

2. Toss apples with sugar and flour and spoon apples over crust

3. Fold crust and partially cover apples

4. Bake for 25 minutes

My husband dug into the pie before I had a chance to take a picture of it out of the oven :)

Scrapbooking Portable Storage

There are some lucky people that have the room in their house to have a designated area in their house for crafts and scrap booking. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people. I have all my scrap booking items in a bag that I pull out when I'm ready to do some scrap booking. It is very useful and does not take up a lot of space.

I had received this bag as a Christmas present from my husband. He knew that I have lots of scrap booking tools and stationary and no where to keep it all together. With this bag its easy for me to just pull it out when I have time. All I need to do is clear off my dining room table and get to work.

Another way to keep things organized within your bag is to get plastic envelopes or dividers. Most people use these to organize coupons but the use them to organize stickers, old invitations, announcements, etc.

These totes are also great to take on vacation or a weekend away. All your tools are available when you get that itch to scrapbook.

DIY Armcandy

My name is Eileen and I am a working mother of one who enjoys spending her free time doing crafts and pursuing ideas that would help me be creative. I am 27 years old and have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old boy. I'm hoping that by posting blogs I can share some of my experiences and creations.

Since I'm such an armcandy lover I figured why not make my own. I have a small wrist so it's hard to find bracelets that fit the way I like. The idea just popped in my head and decided to buy some materials to make bracelets. After watching a couple of YouTube videos, I was on my way to making some much loved wristparties.

All it took was some suede cord, waxed cord, and beads, if desired. I also made some using brass hex nuts. Super easy and very affordable. If you can make a braid the combinations are unlimited. There are also thousands of videos of YouTube that would walk you through step by step in creating the bracelets. I got the materials from Walmart & Michael's. It was very accessible.

After posting some of my creations on social networking sites and I have gotten some great feed back which has motivated me to keep making them. I have even been inspired to create an etsy shoppe "Wristparty Designs" which will have bracelets ready for purchase by the end of the week.
